Kerala style Pappya Pickle preparation methods

Pappya Pickle

Ingredients 

Pappaya  -  One big piece  -  chopped finely

Chilly powder  - 2 table spoon

Turmeric powder – one pinch

Fenugreek fried and powdered -  ¼ tea spoon

Mustard seed powdered -  ¼ tea spoon

Vinegar, salt  - as required

Hing – one pinch 

Oil , mustard seed and curry leaves  -  as required for frying

 

Method of preparation

Take a pan and heat. Add oil and heat. Then add mustard seed and curry leaves and allow to splutter. Add chopped pappya , chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt in to it and mix well. Then close the lid and cook for three minutes. After that add required vinegar and when it get boiled  remove it from the stove and add the mustard seed powder, hing powder and fenu greek powder into it and mix well.
