Ingredients
1. Koorka - cleaned and cut in long pieces – ¼ kilo
2. Grated coconut – ½ portion
3. Turmeric powder - one pinch
4. Green chilly – 3
5. Shallots – 2
6. Garlic – one big clove
7. Onion - chopped – 1
8. Salt – as required
9. Mustard seed – as required
10. Water – as required
11. Curry leaves – as required
Method of preparation
Take the ingredients from 2 – 6, grated coconut, turmeric powder, green chilly, shallots and garlic and crush it. take a pan.. heat oil then add mustard seed, curry leaves, onion, salt and water into it . close the lid and cook. When it gets half cooked add the crushed paste. Then close the lid and cook for some more time. when it gets cooked open the lid and allow the water to get drained. Koorka thoran is ready to serve.
