Palada Pradhaman (Payasam)
Ingredients:
- Dried Ada – 1 cup
- Thick Coconut Milk – 2 cups
- Jaggery/Sugar – ½ cup
- Cardamom Powder – ½ teaspoon
- Cashew Nuts & Raisins – A few
- Ghee – 2 teaspoons
Preparation Method:
- Soak the dried ada in warm water until it softens.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashew nuts and raisins until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the jaggery with a little water. Once it thickens, add the softened ada.
- Stir well and cook until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Then, add the thick coconut milk and bring it to a gentle boil.
- Add cardamom powder, fried cashew nuts, and raisins. Mix well and cover.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
